Listening to the class on the Skinworx products, I was super impressed. A wound care nurse developed this product for healing after procedures and who would know better than a nurse?!? It’s full of tons of good stuff like ceramides (to help keep all of the good stuff in and repel the bad stuff by blocking inflammation and stopping further damage), green tea polyphenols (promotes healthy skin texture and tone), hyaluronic acid (restores essential naturally occurring lipids), and niacinimide (boosts ceramide levels) and all of these make it great at healing skin and reducing wrinkles. So, even without laser, retinols, and other procedures, this is a great product for improving elasticity and protecting the skin. However, it was developed the help even the most sensitive post procedure skin so I gave it a shot after some of my retinol products and scrubs (different days of course!) and I can say that it performed admirably. My sensitive skin felt cooled and restored afterwards. The product is dispensed in a way that you get the perfect amount with each pump (the only downside is that it is a plastic pump that is hard to recycle and you can’t see how much product you have left) but they are vegan and cruelty free (so that is definitely in their favor). The texture is creamy without being greasy and absorbs quickly but does not leave your skin itchy and dry only a few hours later. It’s perfect to use morning (pre sunscreen) and night, making it great if you only want one product in your medicine cabinet. There is virtually no scent which I enjoy – some unscented products have a little unpleasant odor and this is much better. Overall my skin feels great and supported with this cream and I can highly recommend to anyone with dry or aging skin who might be sensitive but especially to those who have laser or retinols in their rotation.

This is a deeply nourishing and restorative moisturizer that’s perfect for healing the skin. It completely replenishes and repairs your skin barrier and always deeply soothed and hydrated my skin. It contains cholesterol, squalene, hyaluronic acid, caffeine, apple stem cells, niacinamide, tetrapeptide-21, green tea polyphenols, and ceramide2/NP/AP/EOP. The texture is creamy and rich but doesn’t feel too heavy and it’s still breathable which is a problem I tend to have with heavier creams. This is my favorite go to repair cream when I dermaplane because it causes absolutely no irritation. This also improves retinol tolerance so this would be perfect to use after applying a retinol product you may have. It has a sanitary push pump and you only need about 1-2 pumps to use on your face, neck and chest. I highly recommend this for post treatment care it’s so perfect for sensitivity.

This is a very nice product for repairing the skin barrier. It is a real soft cream treatment infused with a proprietary blend of really good technology including cholesterol and ceramides to replenish skin along with deeply hydrating. You will see a more youthful-looking appearance. Skonworx should be applied1-2x daily onto the face, neck, and chest. Remember if using retinol, apply after retinol application at night. I recommend this product if your skin is dry or aging. Another positive use for skinworx a wound care nurse developed this product for healing after procedures which I thought was very intelligent. It will also improve retinol tolerance so it would work well after having a retinol treatment which I believe I mentioned earlier.

A super rich and non greasy formulation. I highly recommend for someone with dry skin. I love the texture of this cream as it is thick enough to make my skin feel hydrated and moisturized without feeling greasy/sticky afterwards. With ceramidesS 2/NP/AP/EOP and Apple Stem cells you know your skin will be replenished and nourished. This cream is very useful when you have a sunburn or your skin is sensitive from dermablading as there is no irritation and it promotes your skin barrier to rebuild itself. For the retinol users this is great on your break days from retinol to replenish your skin and make sure it’s getting the love it needs. I love the motto of this brand as self care is deemed a necessary rather than a luxury. I truly believe this as someone who feels better when I am taken care of and restored.The only con I personally have is the dispensing method I much prefer a standard bottle pump than the airless pump “jar” where the product is dispensed onto the top of the jar. So you constantly have to clean the area or you are contaminating your product.

I like Skinworx’s Nourish and Repair Cream. I use it at night after I tone and apply serum. The main goal of the product is to protect your skin barrier. If your barrier is out of sorts your skin will not get better. There is a lot of over exfoliating going on out there. Whether you are using a physical exfoliant or a chemical one, there is a fine line between just right and too much. This cream has ceramides, green tea, and squalene to soothe and moisturize. I recommend using it all the way down to your chest. The feel is nice and not greasy. I could use it in the day time in the winter. I am in Miami, so Summer products are all lightweight during the daytime for me. This is recommended as a “post procedure” product. I definitely see how it can feel great and be healing post laser or deeply exfoliating facial.

Skinworx Nourish + Repair cream was put to the test and I’m impressed. The founder is a leading expert in repairing skin, as RN Cheryl Pierce has spent the past 26 years as a wound care specialist. Stating that even the most retinoid sensitive of skin can actually begin to tolerate the use of adding in a Retin-A. I live in a very dry and arid climate here in Colorado and seemingly never can have enough moisturizer. I am a master aesthetcian with a degree & license in para-medical aesthetics and background working in dermatology yet still, even I struggle with dryness! My skin after just one initial application felt relief, but after consecutive days of use, my skin now naturally looks dewy upon waking in the mornings. I haven’t had that look and feel in years old lol. I usually wake up feeling dry even after my nightly skin care regimen of serums and heavy night cream. Now my skin over-all feels more supple and plump. Skinworx Nourish + Repair cream is chalked full of performance ingredients. Yucca powder helping the over all skin barrier function by fighting oxidative stress. Peptides (aka amino acids) to stimulate collagen production leading to a firmer/more youthful appearance. Green Tea anti-oxidants, and Hyaluronic Acid to seal in water and watch how this product plumps the skin, filling in fine lines. When the skin’s barrier has been compromised due to any number of factors such as sun damage, over exfoliation, over-use of acids & retinoids, undergoing chemo or radiation treatments, etc… If that barrier is not first repaired, no matter how many expensive serums and creams you buy, they can not penetrate through a damaged barrier evenly nor efficiently. As a professional in the industry, a great tip I recommend is to get a dermaplane treatment if you have no contraindications. It’s a great way to quickly remove up to a month of dead skin cells and speed up that barrier repair. It allows for your quality skin care products to absorb more evenly and efficiantly. I would recommend this product for all skin types and especially post laser, microneedling, peels, etc!

The first thing to note about this product is the dispenser. I loved it because when you push down on the top of it it dispenses the exact amount of product you’re supposed to use. It also keeps everything sanitary because you’re not scooping the product out with your finger. The cream doesn’t really have a scent and feels really nice and expensive. The next thing to note is it soaks in really quickly and doesn’t sit on top of the skin and feel heavy like many other creams do. After applying it doesn’t leave my face feeling sticky or greasy and because it soaks in so quickly I can apply makeup immediately after using this without having to wait for it to absorb. What really fascinates me is that the founder of this product is an expert in repairing the skin. I was super exited to try this product and compare it to another product I was using before this one. I apply it daily 2x for a whole week in my stomach due to pregnancy stretch marks and loose skin to see if it would work any better and it did!. I find this product really effective.This product comes in a small container and you need to push it down for the cream to come out. With one pump it should be enough for your face but since I use it in my stomach i use about two pumps. Definitely leaves my skin feel smooth and it did restore my skin due to past surgery’s. I’ve been in the Beauty Industry for the last 10 plus years, as I’ve gotten older, it’s gotten harder to find products that can keep my combination skin hydrated without leaving it oily or clogging my pores. I really liked this cream for a few different reasons. The first one was the simple ease of being able to disperse the product as needed without having to remove it out of the container so it’s almost mess free. The second was how this formula was thicker until it was applied on the skin, once applied to my skin this absorbed smoothly all over, a little goes a long ways with this since it is a thicker formula not much was needed for my skin. This is my first time trying this brand and I was very impressed with this cream. Are use retinol daily at night time so using a nourishing and repairing cream such as this one was critical. It contains so many amazing ingredients such as ceramides, hyaluronic acid, antioxidants, etc. I felt like it really helped to keep a healthy skin barrier and more useful complexion. I loved using this at night time right after using at my retinol. This product felt so good and often times my skin would feel dry after applying retinol but this helped nourish and repair my skin. As someone who has really dry skin, this cream has been one of the favorites I have ever tried!! I would honestly say this is comparable to skin ceuticals triple lipid repair! It’s very nourishing without feeling greasy or heavy. It’s packed with an amazing formulation rich with humectants, emollients and antioxidants such as resveratrol! Skinworx seems to be ahead of the game with adding resveratrol, a potent antioxidant showing highly positive results comparable to retinol! I was really excited to review the products from the skinworks skincare line. I had never heard of it before now so it was fun to learn about it and research the product. I wasn’t expecting this product to be sooooo expensive. omg! $138 is really alot and I’m an Aesthetician. Based on the products ingredients I’m not really sure why either. Yes the dispenser is nice and perfectly dispensed product but so what. it’s a basic ceramide cream with green tea and hyaluronic acid and peptides. seriously nothing super special warranting this special price. it does help to repair the moisture barrier with is nice for those with impaired barriers. I love the way it feels but have honestly feel the same with creams that are wayyyyy better priced on the market.

As a skincare therapist with over 30 years of experience, I recommend Skinworx Noirish and Repair cream. But I have to clarify. The price point of this product is way too much as there are other lines in the market with similar or identical ingredients that do the job for less. Maybe they don’t have the same exact combination of ingredients as this cream has, but they do have great ingredients. But in regards to this cream specifically, the ingredients are amazing. I have combination, sensitive and acne-prone skin and this face cream did an impeccable job balancing my oily areas, especially my t-zone. The Skinworx nourish and repair cream is a rich experience. Although the formula is still pretty light as soon as I applied it I felt as if my skin was being hydrated from deep layers of the skin. It doesn’t leave any sort of film on top and it doesn’t even feel super hydrated on the surface. But looking and feeling my skin there was plumpness from within. I love the packaging because the pump top allows just the right amount of product out keeping it sanitized and keeping the product from spoiling. I’ve been putting the Skinworx Nourish+Repair Cream on the scab and it’s been healing and minimizing in size in super lightening fast time! It started out as a nickel size ouchie to now a dime size in just a few days! Now that’s repair and recovery at its best. I’m amazed by this stuff on a daily basis. I love the consistency, it’s a light to medium cream. My oily skin definitely drinks it in, it’s not too heavy! I do prefer to use it at night only. I like the Nourish and Repair Restorative Soft Cream and Repairing Barrier Treatment. Being an Esthetician for 20+years I have done Facial Peels on many many clients as well as myself. I found this repairing cream to be a wonderful after peel treatment. With ingredients such as Squaline, Cholesterol and Ceramides it really helps soothe the skin after a peel also replenish and hydrate. I LOVE a rich moisturizer. I LOVE an airless pump bottle. This product has both, and I was immediately obsessed. I love the texture of this moisturizer. It’s rich, but not overbearing or oily feeling. It absorbs into the skin super fast, and it’s overall just a pleasant experience. It works VERY well after a deep exfoliation! This cream is a product I’d deem not to judge by its initial application. It dispences using a center-dispensing airless pump (more about that below) and produces a rich cream which at first rests on the skin almost like a mask. For a second, I assumed that it would leave my skin with a very dewy, almost grease-like sheen. However, it absorbs into my skin beautifully, leaving it nourished, moisturized, and soft. I’d recently been using enzymatic peels, and mild chemical peels, and just started a 1% retinol cream regimen. That’s usually the strongest in use in today’s OTC creams on the market. The retinol cream I’m using has great ingredients to protect the skin barrier. This product has proven to be the icing on the cake, so to speak, for further protecting my skin. The Skinworx Nourish + Repair Cream is a rich and restorative moisturizer focused on aging and dehydrated skin. The formula contains green tea, hyaluronic acid, collagen boost technology, and peptides which are focused on repairing the skin barrier while replenishing and soothing the skin. It’s fragrance free with a fluffy, Cereve-like texture that’s great for hydrating and calming dry or compromised skin. What I loved about this formula was the nourishing properties, especially after washing your face with a face cleanser that leaves your skin feeling squeaky and stripped. One thing I wasn’t a fan of was the dispenser and packaging. The dispenser is a push-pop kind of lid that dispenses formula from the center of the lid so you’re swiping your finger over the top to get product and apply it to your face. This is a bit unsanity and I’d prefer a jar where I can use a tool to get product or a squeeze bottle where I direct the product onto my finger instead of swiping my finger on the dispenser. Despite this, I also appreciated that the jar has a removable lid that makes it easy to access product at the bottom and properly clean it out for recycling. Overall, I really enjoyed this product and would recommend it to anyone with severe or compromised skin concerns like auburn, rosacea, eczema, or extremely dry or sensitive skin.

The cream uses the power of ceramides, apple stem cells and collagen technology. This cream is appropriate for someone post procedure as well as to be used for 1×2 times for your day/night cream. This repair cream performs very well, and I would definitely use this as an everyday moisturizer. My combination skin reacted well to the product and after two weeks I see less redness, unevenness, and a more glowing complexion.
